The Queen: Future King? God save me!
Think whatever you will of the British royals, there are at least some depths to which Her Majesty will not sink! The Palace announced today that Queen Elizabeth II has refused to dignify the marriage of Prince Charles and his mistress with Her presence. And, of course, this is meant to fuel speculation that plans are afoot to skip a generation in the Royal succession….
Hail William, King of England!

No amount of make-up and no amount of royal spin and PR machines will make me warm to Camilla. I will not be manipulated! May she never be Queen, may Charles never be King and long may the current Queen reign if this is what we have to look forward to. Pray that she will exceed the grand old age of the late Queen Mother.
