I'm sorry for your loss.
This has to be the most profound notice of a father's passing that I've ever read. Yet, strangely enough, it really speaks to me.

I knew your dad. He was a great man.
A man who stood very firmly in what he believed.
He will be greatly missed.
He wasn't as educated as some but this was the beauty of him because he didn't lean to his own understanding. He followed the bible and God's principles. He was plain speaking and easily understood. You knew exactly where he stood.
