I wonder if all this fuss would have happened if it was you?
I appreciate your cynicism Weblogbahamas. But my “celebrity” is such that I doubt even members of my family would make such a fuss over my death….
Apropos fuss, I think animal rights activist, erstwhile feminists and Irwin’s fellow Australian, Germaine Greer, created quite a furore by asserting, categorically, that Irwin deserved his freakish fate for abusing animals for entertainment masquerading as wild life conservation….
Of course, I would not go that far. But I always thought the long-running TV series “Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom” was far more educational (and entertaining) than Irwin’s croc-hunting, croc-fighting schtick.
fuck up you stupid nerdy little cunt,
steve was a ledgend so shut the fuck up
cunts
I am a really really big fan of Steve Irwin.
he was my idol and my hero.
You can not say that Steve had "abused his animals for
entertainment" for he has helped conservationists and
has helped animals inside or out of conservation around
the world, Steve Irwin has even been awarded to be named
professor steve irwin.
Steve taught us how to protect and love these inoccent
and wonderful creatures of our world from being
tortured or even killed either by polution or poltures.
Either way you or i look at how the world is turning out
we can all clearly see it is down to us the planet we
call earth is slowly and painfully being destroyed.
Steve helped us to see animals not as evil killing
machines but as amazing, unique and clever cretures
of our world and to love them and protect them and
even look after them.
His goal was to get his word out and his family, friends
and even I will help to keep the word his message strong
for as long as I and his friends and family shall live.
So Steve did not deserve his "freakish fate" he tried
to help our planet and has on his own with and with a
few other conservationists.
Steve Irwin was a great man and will not ever be
forgotten. So next time think before you say something
hurtful yes he's dead but tha still doesn't give you the
right to say things like what you have said about someone
you didn't know and especially when you don't know
everything.
And...
CROC'S RULE!!!
