Blair takes on the Sisyphean task of brokering peace in the Middle East

Perhaps as penance for his role in waging an infernal war, British PM Tony Blair committed his life last week to a round or two of purgatory – toiling in the bottomless perdition of the Middle East trying to broker peace between the Israelis and Palestinians.

Although one wonders whether his pending conversion to Catholicism might have inspired this masochistic missionary sojourn....
