Biden has immunity to end Trump’s campaign
Biden and the Democrats should stop worrying and scaremongering about what a reelected Trump might do. Instead, they should realize that the Supreme Court just ruled Biden can use the DOJ, FBI, or even Seal Team 6 to ensure Trump never sets foot in the White House again.
Sure enough, Trump is threatening military tribunals to prosecute everyone from Presidents Biden and Obama to Representatives Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger for treason. That, of course, is Trump projecting most ominously.
After all, Biden has far greater cause to order military tribunals to prosecute Trump for treason for, among other things, the Jan 6 insurrection and continually inciting millions of people to engage in violence.
Biden should jump before Democrats push
Democrats are lying in wait to force Biden to resign. It’s only a matter of time. But he deserves two weeks to prove last Thursday was just “a bad debate night.” I urge him to have a few interviews, press conferences, and town halls to push that debate to the back of public consciousness.
If he fails, Biden could seal his legacy by citing health reasons for withdrawing from the presidential race. He could further seal his legacy by endorsing VP Kamala Harris to succeed him as the nominee.
Trust me, no Democrat would dare challenge her. For that would tear the Democratic Party asunder, handing Trump the presidency and MAGA Republicans the Congress on a silver platter.
Moreover, if Kamala wins in November, all contenders would have to hold their presidential ambitions in abeyance until 2032. I’m on record hailing Maryland Governor Wes Moore as ideally positioned to run and win that presidential election.
Trump has created too many enemies to serve
If, by the curse of God, Trump wins in November, he will never make it to the White House. He has threatened to jail or execute too many military generals. And just today, he repeated threats to hold military tribunals to prosecute his political enemies.
The point is that Trump is drinking too much Diet Coke if he thinks all these people are just going to bend over and wait for him to have his way with them.
Again, Biden has the power today to do to Trump what Trump is telling the whole world he wants to do to Biden and others. Trump might be too stupid to appreciate this, but that only means he’s in for a rude awakening.
