Trump’s 2026 State of the Union wasn’t a report on the nation; it was a performance. A firehose of lies, stolen slogans, broken promises, and authoritarian threats delivered as if courts, laws, and facts exist only to serve him. From tariffs that punish allies to phantom checks that never came, this was not leadership. It was a dress rehearsal for autocratic rule.
