Alas, it seems big men having sex with small boys is just another form of Boy Scouts training; you know, like learning first-aid and survival skills.
Catholic Church set the precedent
Of course, the Catholic Church set the abominable precedent for child sex abuse. Revelations about the scourge of pedophilia in that institution have caused irreparable reputational damage.
Indeed, the damage is such that my Catholic friends now take pains to distinguish between (good) homosexual and (bad) pedophile priests. Boy Scouts following fashion
Supporters can’t even distinguish pedophilia as a scourge in the Boy Scouts. More importantly, the fallout from this scourge is virtually identical.
No doubt that’s why the Boy Scouts is following the Catholic Church down the primrose path of filing bankruptcy. Filing will allow both institutions to get away with their cardinal sins.
Boy Scouts of America filed for bankruptcy protection early today amid declining membership and a drumbeat of child sexual abuse allegations that have illuminated the depth of the problem within the organization and Scouts’ failure to get a handle on it. …
Some fear that at a minimum it will prevent survivors from naming their abuser in open court.

Of course, Catholics have been relying on prayer and papal indulgence to excuse cardinal sins since time immemorial. But this filing makes a mockery of Scout’s honor, no? Both are exploiting legal loopholes to settle claims on the cheap.
Meanwhile, President Trump addressed the annual Boy Scouts Jamboree in West Virginia in 2017. In typical fashion, he rambled on about things like the size of his crowd, hot chicks at New York City parties, and the mafia-style loyalty he commands.
Critics accused him of defiling the wholesome occasion. But little did they know that Trump’s shtick was G-rated compared with the X-rated stuff Scoutmasters were exposing those kids to regularly.
