Jake Tapper’s new book is getting buzz for exposing what he claims was a cover-up of Biden’s cognitive decline. But there was no cover-up — just collective denial. His decline was going viral long before the debate that ended his campaign.
Now Biden’s team has revealed his prostate cancer diagnosis, and my heart goes out to him and his family. I wish him a speedy recovery. But, unsurprisingly, the timing of this announcement is triggering as much cynicism as sympathy. Still, here’s hoping what little decency remains in politics grants him the grace and space to live out his days in peace.
Which means cancelling all media appearances for your self-serving book, Original Sin, Jake Tapper.
