Trump is using the DOJ to persecute political enemies through investigations, humiliation, and crushing legal costs. Yet Democratic billionaires, who owe their fortunes to democracy and the rule of law, refuse to fund the legal defense machine needed to stop him. Worse, iPINIONS contends, is that Trump is pushing a so-called anti-weaponization fund that could compensate Jan. 6 defendants while patriotic Americans are left to fend for themselves.
