Rupert Murdoch Admits Fox News Lied about the 2020 Presidential Election

Fox News propagated the big lie that Democrats rigged the 2020 Election. And it accused Dominion Voting Systems of flipping votes to help them do it.

Dominion filed a $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox News. Its filings have disclosed incriminating text and email exchanges among Fox personnel. And they are proving to be the gift that keeps on giving.

The court released Dominion’s latest filing yesterday. It triggered a media-feeding frenzy.

Because it features Rupert Murdoch conspiring to continue propagating that big lie. He, of course, is chairman of the media empire that owns Fox News. And his texts make clear that he decided this big lie was good for business.

 Murdoch himself is proving Dominion’s case. Fox News knew Donald Trump’s claim about voter fraud during the 2020 election was a big lie. But Fox kept broadcasting it anyway.

Asked by Dominion’s lawyer, Justin Nelson, whether he could have ordered Fox News to keep Trump lawyers like Ms. Powell and Mr. Giuliani off the air, Mr. Murdoch responded: ‘I could have. But I didn’t.’

Fox News peddles lies like opioids

Lies are the opioids of Fox viewers. So the more Fox fed them lies, the more hooked they became. And Fox exploited their addiction to generate unrivaled revenues.

Meanwhile, Americans who watch Murdoch’s Fox TV are becoming brainwashed. That is, just like Russians who watch Putin’s state TV. But Murdoch couldn’t care less. He’s even extolling his treasonous commercialism as wholly consistent with righteous capitalism.

Now he’s prohibiting hosts from reporting truths about this defamation lawsuit. This, even though it’s the biggest defamation lawsuit in US history and the biggest media story of the day.

Fox News host Howard Kurtz, who anchors [‘MediaBuzz,’] a weekly show on the media industry, said he has been told not to cover the $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit filed against Fox by Dominion Voting Systems.

‘I believe I should be covering it. It’s a major media story, given my role here at Fox. But the company has decided that as part of the organization being sued, I can’t talk about it or write about it.’

Nothing betrays Murdoch’s business ethos quite like that. And yet he greenlit anchors to peddle lies about the 2020 presidential election.

Fox anchors channeled Murdoch himself

But neither Murdoch’s admissions nor his muzzling of Kurtz should come as a surprise. After all, even I have been calling him out for years. That is, for propagating racist, misogynistic, and even anti-American propaganda as news.

For example, iPINIONS has published blog posts on how

• Murdoch aped Trump by tweeting that Obama is not a real man;
• women complained that former Fox head Roger Ailes has a dick for brains;
• Murdoch is the wizard of Trumpism; and
• Murdoch dumped dumb Trump for more cleverly racist and mendacious DeSantis.

In short, Murdoch has built his media empire on peddling brazen lies and racism. That’s why “Fox News” operates far more like a predatory fox than a news organization…

So here’s to calling it Fox. Period!

Murdoch should be treated like a pariah

A consistent theme runs through my numerous blog posts and podcast episodes about Murdoch’s media empire. It’s that this Aussie interloper-cum-wizard of Trumpism is hell-bent on destroying America. And that he’s rivaling Russian President Vladimir Putin in this respect.

So why are members of the American establishment still socializing with him? That’s why I have nothing but contempt for them. After all, you’d expect any American to treat him like a pariah.

Of course, you rarely see Blacks in his social circle. That’s why the Jews there get the full brunt of my contempt. It appears they couldn’t care less that his Fox peddles almost as anti-Semitism as racism.

But, if I were Jewish, I wouldn’t be caught dead socializing with a profiteering anti-Semite. Would you?
