Black enrollment at top colleges is way down, but that should come as no surprise. After all, this was the clear intent of the White supremacist anti-DEI crusaders who made banning affirmative action a political casus belli. So, mission accomplished!
Meanwhile, legacy admissions continue to thrive as it has since time immemorial — as “affirmative action for rich White folks.” Affirmative action was meant to redress 400 years of slavery and systemic racism. Yet the Supreme Court banned it after only 50 years because Whites and Asians complained Blacks were getting a leg up at their expense. That reeks not just of projection but of racist entitlement!
