Black Prof. Jason Arday Quits Cambridge. But His Plagiarism Still Has Nothing to Do With DEI

Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 8:23 AM
Written by Anthony L. Hall
Jason Arday portraits over a Cambridge University courtyard.

Jason Arday quit Cambridge as allegations of plagiarism, résumé embellishment, and fabricated achievements overwhelmed his professorship. He deserves condemnation. But iPINIONS contends that his downfall proves nothing about DEI or the legitimacy of Black academics. After all, elite universities were admitting and protecting compromised White professors long before Cambridge appointed its first Black professor. Read… Read more.

2026 World Cup Final. Spain Won. Everyone Else Lost.

Spain’s Black stars celebrate as Argentina players despair after the World Cup final.

Spain defeated Argentina to win its second World Cup, powered by Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams, two Black sons of immigrants. Messi faded, Trump strained to smile, and FIFA’s “greatest final ever” hype dissolved into a tedious display of keep-away. iPINIONS hails it as yet another victory for Spain, diversity, and talent over exclusion. Trump Is Making Juneteenth More Cause Than Commemoration

Juneteenth and the opening of the Obama presidential center

Trump stripped Juneteenth and MLK Day from the national parks’ free-admission calendar while making his birthday a free-admission day. iPINIONS notes that’s not an administrative tweak. That’s a confession. Meanwhile, Obama opened a monument to Black achievement as Trump wages war on Black history. Interracial Families Dominating TV Commercials in Trump’s America

interracial TV ads

Television doesn’t just reflect culture… it edits it. This post examines why interracial families now dominate TV commercials in Trump’s America, why advertisers are doing it because it sells, and how overcasting risks triggering the same backlash now choking corporations, universities, and federal agencies. The camera has moved on, even if the validation arrived decades… Read more.

MLK Day in MAGA’s Jim Crow 2.0 America

MLK Day 2026

On MLK Day, Donald Trump isn’t honoring MLK’s legacy; he’s dismantling it. From scrubbing MLK Day and Juneteenth from the National Park Service calendar, to whitewashing American history under an Orwellian “sanity” order, to weaponizing DEI bans as grievance-driven affirmative action for Whites, Project 2025 amounts to a full-scale rollback of civil rights. iPINIONS damns… Read more.

Trump Is Making Indigenous Peoples’ Day Columbus Day Again

Trump’s new proclamation to “make Columbus Day great again” isn’t about honoring Italian Americans; it’s about reviving the old lie that conquest equals discovery. From Columbus’s own journals to Trump’s DEI purge, iPINIONS shows how historical whitewashing keeps finding fresh political sponsors. Trump Deploys National Guard in DC — Laying Groundwork for Coup 2.0

Trump deploying National Guard to DC

Trump just deployed the National Guard in DC and told cops “if they spit, we hit”… even as he pardoned over 1,000 Jan. 6 loyalists who spat on and brutalized police. He claims DC is “more violent than Baghdad,” but FBI data shows violent crime is falling. iPINIONS contends that this isn’t about safety; it’s… Read more.

Trump Marks Juneteenth by Removing Bust of MLK and Eliminating Civil Rights

Written by Anthony L. Hall

He once flaunted the MLK bust like a prop. Now he’s removed it, while gutting DEI and pretending Juneteenth is woke fiction. iPINIONS exposes how Trump is now erasing the civil rights of Black Americans as brazenly as he once exploited Black voters for political gain. Harvard just fired Professor Francesca Gino for dishonesty, but Trump is trying to break the entire university for disobedience. iPINIONS puts this Gino firing in context — not just of Harvard’s leadership scandals, but of Trump’s autocratic war on academic freedom. Target Blames Tariffs More than Black Anti-DEI Backlash for Sales Slump

Friday, May 23, 2025 at 9:29 AM
Written by Anthony L. Hall
Image of Target store with inset of Pastor Jamal Bryant and list of companies ending DEI policies.

Target wants you to believe tariffs are behind its slumping sales. But iPINIONS contends that it’s really a modern-day Montgomery-style boycott by Black consumers fed up with its anti-DEI betrayal. And if Target’s already crying “unsustainable” after just 65 days, imagine what happens by day 200, when Pastor Jamal Bryant shifts the spotlight to Amazon… Read more.
