Russian Figure Skater Valieva, the Doping Diva, Disqualified

Kamila Valieva stripped of gold medal from Winter Olympics.

Of course, that the notoriously doped-up Russians stole the Americans’ Olympic glory was bad enough. But the International Olympic Committee and the Court of Arbitration for Sport only compounded that unfairness by making the Americans wait nearly two years to resolve this matter. After all, I figured out two years ago the resolution they have finally come. IOC neutral… Read more.

Biden Must Retaliate Against Iran-Backed Militias for Their Attacks

Biden’s passivity invited this tragedy Yesterday, an Iran-backed militia launched a drone strike against US troops in Jordan, killing three and wounding over forty. But this was just the latest such attack. Because Iran-backed militias have launched over 160 attacks against US troops in Iraq, Syria, and now Jordan since October 7.  That, of course, is the day of infamy… Read more.

Chiefs and 49ers in Super Bowl  The Kansas City Chiefs are the reigning Super Bowl Champions. And they showed why today as they dominated the Baltimore Ravens. The Chiefs will now defend their title against the San Francisco 49ers.  Kansas City will head to its second straight Super Bowl, the franchise’s fourth appearance in the NFL’s title… Read more.

NFL Conference Championships Sunday: Go Ravens! Go Lions!

Conference Championship matchups  I maintain that Conference Championships Sunday is the most exciting day of the NFL season. The stakes, intensity, rivalries, and suspense often render the Super Bowl anticlimactic. This year’s AFC Championship game showcases a clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens, while the NFC Championship pits the Detroit Lions against the San Francisco 49ers. My… Read more.

Australia Day Australia Day marks the 1788 landing of White settlers who colonized the Continent. But White Australians are finally reckoning with the historical fact that their ancestors did not discover Australia. Of course, White Americans have been facing a similar reckoning for decades. But it’s stupefying that it took Whites in America and Australia so long to recognize that their… Read more.

Iowa Hailed Trump. New Hampshire Humbled Him (a Little).

New Hampshire voting in primary with images of Donald Trump and Nikki Haley inset.

Haley outperforms Trump Simply put, just yesterday, the Wall Street Journal published a New Hampshire poll with Donald Trump defeating Nikki Haley 60% to 39%. But the final results are trending much closer.  That means Haley will outperform expectations. And that’s why she rushed to set the narrative by declaring a “big-mo” victory.  Of course, Bill Clinton set the… Read more.

Elon Musk’s Auschwitz Photo Op Reeks of Performative Contrition

Musk visits Auschwitz Elon Musk revels in playing the enfant terrible of the business world. I have often argued that he wants to be to business what Donald Trump is to politics. So, the last thing you’d expect him to do is make a solemn and contrite pilgrimage to the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp. Yet, that’s what he did today, with… Read more.

The World Economic Forum at Davos The annual gathering of business and political elites at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, concluded yesterday. However, this event often reeks of hypocrisy, so much so that forum discussions do little more than emit the CO2 attendees continually pledge to reduce. Especially notable are their backslapping pledges to combat climate change and… Read more.

Trump vs Biden face off with image of Jan 6 insurrection inset

Civil War II America is marching into Civil War II – eyes wide shut. Indeed, few seem to care. iPINIONS has raised alarm in this regard in many commentaries. But the titles alone of some of them seemed alarming enough – as these three attest: “Civil War II Looms Larger as Texas Suppresses Voting Rights and Bans… Read more.
