Well, he incited still-simmering outrage by allegedly “sexing up” data about WMDs to justify sending British troops on Bush’s march of folly into Iraq.
Then he amassed a king’s ransom by trading on his tenure as prime minister in a manner that made Bill Clinton seem urbane and discreet by comparison.
But passing off fake conversations from the movie The Queen as real conversations with Her Majesty in his memoirs seems to have been the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back.
iPINIONS is happy to see this glib, mercenary fraud being duly pilloried in his own country, so much so that he had to cross the Atlantic to peddle his book where people don’t know better or don’t care.
